Qwest Awards Grant to Athletes For Kids

The local Athletes For Kids youth mentorship program, which matches up local high school athletes as mentors with young children with disabilities, recently received a $10,000 grant from the Quest Foundation for 2005.

Ken Moscaret, president of Athletes For Kids, said the money would go toward its two newest chapters at Eastlake and Issaquah high schools, as well as a fourth high school chapter by the end of 2005.
