Our Story
Athletes For Kids is a
non-profit, community organization based in Sammamish,
Washington. Our program began in 2001 as one family's
response to their own child’s needs.
After setting up a mentoring relationship for their son
who was struggling with Tourette’s Syndrome, and seeing
a tremendous difference in the child’s life because of
this one important friendship, our founders, Ken and Liz
Moscaret decided to share the concept with other
families of special-needs children.

Leadership
Our
Board of Directors is composed of dedicated
community leaders. They are local business leaders and
community members who are dedicated to helping children.
Their oversight and direction provide the leadership
that is vital to our ability to provide services now and
well into the future.
